Notes
♫
"Copper Wires" covers Larry Norman's Internet party at the
Street Level Cafe, celebrating his 51st birthday; April 8th, 1998.
All songs are with a band. The last five tracks are from the 1997
Internet party; unlisted on the CD is a small part of "Feed The
Poor." The complete "Feed The Poor" and another track from the same
Internet party ("Rock The Flock") were released on the Phan Klubb CD
"Father Touch"
♫
"Copper Wires" was released twice in the US. The first
release (300-400 copies) had different artwork (front cover and CD
print). Larry Norman remastered all (?) tracks for the second
release and he added some text. The second version is from 1999.
♫
"I Love You" is a rendition of the People song (written by
Chris White of the Zombies not credited on the initial release),
and "Sleepwalk" by S. Farina, J. Farina and A. Farina (S. & J. are
better known as Santo & Johnny, they had a hit with "Sleepwalk" in
1959; they are not credited on the CD). The Byrds had a hit with
"Turn, Turn, Turn."
♫
"Oil In My Lamp" and "I Am A Pilgrim" are traditionals (both
covered by several artists, amongst them The Byrds, The Nitty Gritty
Dirt Band, and The Lost Dogs).
