♫                    "Agitator" is a "Best of" compilation with three unreleased bonus tracks, released as volume 2 in the "Essential Series." At this moment only four "Essential" discs have been released: "Agitator," (#2, Nov. 2002) "Survivor," (#7, Dec. 2002) "Collaborator," (#4, Dec. 2002) and "Instigator" (#1, March 2003).

♫                    "Agitator" appeared with two layout variations. Also, the first contained an extra CD insert mentioning many forthcoming releases, among them the following unknown Larry Norman titles: "The Biograph Collection," "Time To Breathe," "The Oakland Sessions," "Soul'd Out," and "Rough Streets."

♫                    Earlier in 2002 some people received an "E.T.D." (Essential Test Disc) with 44 segments of tracks plus some explanations on paper. The idea was that people could choose their favorite segments and that this would help Larry Norman decide what to include as bonus tracks on the forthcoming CDs (which were at the time, as listed in the papers: "Essential," "Survivor," "Roll Away The Stone," and "Rock, Scissors et Papier").
